We are on a search for the best pizza delivery on the NW side. Our quest led us to try out Alfanos. We ordered a large sausage, mushroom and artichoke heart a small cheese and cheesy bread-sticks. I was a little nervous about calling based on reading prior reviews but the person who took our order didn't seem put out just busy. Our order arrived after about 30 minutes and while the delivery driver was friendly he was on his phone the entire time. The good: The crust was nice and tender and I was delighted to see nice large chunks of artichokes and fresh mushrooms. The cheese sticks were browned and and had just the right amount of crispy cheese. The meh: I have never before ordered bread-sticks where if you wanted sauce it was an additional fee. They charge an extra dollar if you want sauce for your sticks, just FYI. The sausage was a little on the milder side, seeming less flavorful than some others we've had recently. The disappointing: Despite having nice chunks of toppings, they were pretty sparse. I dislike looking at a slice and being able to count on 1 hand (usually less) how many topping pieces it has. Overall my family enjoyed our pizza and we all agreed that this has taken the lead in our unofficial family pizza poll

Good pizza, horrible customer service. Every time I have called for carry out or delivery I feel as though they are mad at me for ordering. Seem like miserable people, as harsh as that sounds. However, the pizza is really good, just need more friendly people.

good Pizza....terrible customer service. I have to agree with a couple of the other posts. I've walked out of there picking up a pizza and thought the lady The lady there hated me for some reason!??? Really strange. She's a real head shaker! Mad at the works I guess.

Years ago Alfono's had decent food. We've ordered from them 4 times in the past couple of months. Their lack of customer service is ridiculous. It doesn't matter what phone you try calling, or who makes the call, they always complain about a bad connection. The first time I called they flat out hung up on me. The last time I went in to place a carry out order to avoid talking to them on the phone, 4 people were standing around behind the counter and not one of them bothered to ask if they could help me when I walked in. They really do seem to be bothered having to actually deal with the public. The restaurant side is currently closed for renovations, they had no tickets up and I was the only customer in the place. They charge $1 for sauce? Tonight is the last time I'll ever order from them. Our pizza arrived undercooked in the middle and overdone on the edges. I was incredibly grossed out to find a long brown hair under the cheese. I hope the health department surprises them with an inspection soon. My advice is to order elsewhere.

Sunday night and we were going through the options of take-out we could order....mexican, chinese, or pizza. When pizza was chosen, we then had numerous options, but chose Alfano's because I was passing by on the way home. I could not find a website to look at menu which was an inconvenience, but I called the number found on google. I had a craving for a classic Spaghetti & Meatball and a Chicken Alfredo pizza. Both items were FANTASTIC! The red sauce w/ the spaghetti was so flavorful with so much depth. The meatball was authentic & made with love. My taste buds were dancing for joy! The pizza....that was on a whole other level. The large pieces of marinated & grilled chicken, chunks of broccoli, tasty alfredo sauce, gooey cheese, & crust that was so amazingly delicious. My friend who works at a restaurant that serves great pizzas, couldnt stop talking about how much she enjoyed the pizza as well. I followed up dinner with a phone call to the restaurant for the pleasant experience. I chose to go local & not a franchise and Alfano's hit it out of the park with a homerun. ~ Cheers to great, local food! -Jimmy Le

I absolutely love the pizza here; it's a must-eat anytime I'm in town. The lunch buffet doesn't show much love for vegetarians, but I can overlook that when everything I order is so amazing. There's something about the sauce in particular that sets Alfano's pizza apart from others. My stomach is rumbling now just thinking about it...
